Distracted driving kills more than 3,000-4,000 and injuries another 400,000-600,000 people each year. At any given daylight moment across America, 660,000 drivers are using cell phones or other electronic devices while driving.
The average time the eyes of distracted drivers are off the road is 5 seconds. At 55 mph, this is equivalent to traveling the length of a football field blindfolded!
I’ll be raising awareness each Wednesday on #Periscope (2pm ET) and I need your help. Please share if you care and join me in supporting a zero tolerance on distracted driving! [watch today’s recorded Periscope here]
