Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
This is one conversation that is definitely worth having as the implications are profound.
The idea that the government has ordered a corporation to create a product (that’s alarming enough!) to specifically and intentionally undermine the security and privacy of its customer is mind-blowing.
It’s situations like this that slowly erode our rights, because people tend to focus on the single incident of good (in this case gathering evidence) to justify the means.
I’ll be sharing with my community in hopes to keep this conversation open and thriving.

Well said Jennifer. We need to look at the big picture and in my humble opinion, this order suffers from substantial overreach. I think Apple CEO, Tim Cook, properly addressed all the issues in his letter. We’ll see what happens.
