Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and Live Streaming!

live_streamingI’ve been jumping up and down for the past year sharing my excitement about how and why I think live streaming is going to change the world. Heck, I even developed this site to share my streams while also supporting the live streaming efforts of my community.

Today an interesting article came out in BuzzFeed News. In the article, Facebook Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, had this to say about live streaming:

“We’re entering this new golden age of video,” Zuckerberg told BuzzFeed News. “I wouldn’t be surprised if you fast-forward five years and most of the content that people see on Facebook and are sharing on a day-to-day basis is video.”

I’m guessing Zuckerberg is right when it comes to video in five years. I’d like to add that this will probably include one or more aspects of virtual reality aka VR (click here to see our interview with Malia Probst re VR).

This is a great article and I encourage you to click here to read the entire post on BuzzFeed. Also feel free to connect with me on all the live streaming platforms that are of interest to you!
