What Do Tony Robbins, David Meerman Scott and The Streaming Lawyer Have In Common?

Last Saturday night I was honored to watch and listen to the amazing David Meerman Scott mention my firm while speaking at the Tony Robbins Business Mastery event in Las Vegas. The topic was real-time marketing and newsjacking and David had the audience at the edge of their seats.

David is an internationally acclaimed marketing, business and sales strategist, advisor and best-selling author. He’s been kind enough to mentioned my firm in several of his recent marketing books. You can learn more about David and his services by clicking here.

Here’s a video clip from last Saturday night’s Facebook live in front of 1,400+ people in the audience and viewed by 62,000 people around the world in less than 48 hours. Suffice it to say, I think David’s been bitten by the live streaming bug! You can watch more of his Facebook live stream here.

Service Above Self on Social Media

Service Above Self on Social Media

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”  -Mahatma Gandhi

The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self.” It guides the daily habits of 1.3 million Rotarians located in 175 countries and 33,000 clubs worldwide.

When it comes to service, I believe our Rotary Four-Way Test has helped me make the right decisions since I first learned about it from my father as a young teenager. Although firmly grounded in the traditional offline world, I think the Rotary Four-Way Test applies, even more so today, to everything we all do online. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

The Rotary Four-Way Test:

Of the things we think, say or do

Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

I hope you find The Rotary Four-Way Test helpful in your social media decision-making process.

Yours in service, social and law,

Mitch
