Jon Ferrara, has been recognized for pioneering innovation in the customer management category. Prior to founding Nimble, LLC. Ferrara was the creator and co-founder of the award-winning customer management product GoldMine.
In 1999, Goldmine was acquired by FrontRange and Ferrara left to pursue other interests. During those years, Ferrara continued to watch the CRM market. He saw that most of the CRM products that were serving small businesses moved up market (and became more costly and complex) or fell by the way side, leaving the market underserved. It was at this point that he decided to create the next generation CRM product for small businesses, Nimble.
Jon and Mitch talked about how and why businesses should use CRM and specifically the benefits Nimble brings to the table. Full disclosure- Mitch uses, enjoys and recommends the Nimble platform.

Last week I shared my thoughts about how important mobile platforms are when it comes to communicating online. This week I’m sharing the recorded video of our Friday morning Spreecast discussing many of the same issues.
During the Spreecast, people connected and shared their ideas via desktops, laptops and smartphones. In a year or two this entire Spreecast will simply require a smartphone or mobile wearable device like Google Glass. Pretty exciting when you think about it.
Here’s the Spreecast. Please share your comments below. By the way, we’ll be doing more of these so if you’d like to know when the next Spreecast will take place, follow me on Twitter. I share most events there!
