Mitch Jackson enjoys combining law, social media and livestreaming to disrupt, hack, and improve his clients’ companies, causes, and professional relationships. He’s an award-winning 2009 Orange County Trial Lawyer of the Year and a 2013 California Litigation Lawyer of the Year.
When he’s not trying cases, Mitch uses social media and technology to help good attorneys become great trial lawyers. He also enjoys keynoting and speaking on topics and approaches designed to show entrepreneurs, business owners, and other professionals how to effectively build their brand, expand their sphere of influence, and create top-of-mind awareness on the social media and digital platforms. He’s an early adopter of livestreaming (live video) and has spoken at the New York and San Francisco Periscope Summits and keynoted at Summit.Live in Los Angeles.
Recently, Mitch presented social media legal tips to an audience of 420 people at Social Media Day San Diego. In August, he’s looking forward to sharing the stage with David Meerman Scott at the Tony Robbins Business Mastery Event in Las Vegas (he was featured David’s last two marketing books) to talk about newsjacking. Shortly after that, Mitch will be talking technology in the courtroom using VR, AR, MR, and AI, at the Clio Cloud Conference in New Orleans.
Mitch is a legal expert witness and also a contributing consulting expert in the California State Bar’s “Effective Introduction of Evidence in California- Chapter 54 Electronic and Social Media Evidence.” He also consulted on the new book, “Shame Nation,” written by Sue Scheff with the forward by Monica Lewinsky.
Mitch has appeared on live video shows with Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, Seth Godin, Peter Diamandis, and Gary Vaynerchuk, and his weekly live video show, TheShow.live, is one of the longest running weekly live video shows on the Internet.
