Building your name and brand on social media and specifically Clubhouse, takes time. The process isn’t a sprint or marathon (there’s no finish line). Think of this process as something more like a healthy diet or exercise plan. Consistent effort over time is what will get you the results you’re looking for.
On Clubhouse, the secret to building a following to your profile and more members and followers in your Clubhouse Club is showing up and ACTIVE engagement.
What do I mean by this?
Well, hosting and moderating and/or co-moderating rooms is a great place to start. Being on stage and leading an active, engaging, entertaining and helpful room is a great place to start. Using the below mentioned approaches (links) as a moderator will encourage an active and interesting room and for people on stage and in the audience to follow you and others in the room. Co-moderating with others who already have large followings is also a solid approach to bring more people into your sphere of influence. Another approach that works well for me is to join active clubs, show up in other rooms that you’re interested in, read the room and once done, RAISE YOUR HAND and appropriately participate in the conversation. Including others in your conversation and adding to the conversation (ask the moderators and fellow speakers open-ended questions) will result in people on stage, and in the audience being more invested in who you are and tapping to connect with you and your club if you have one. Use these approaches (my favorite on social) during your conversation to build rapport and your brand.
For the lawyers reading this, I’ve also found that being involved in rooms and in clubs of interests, outside of the legal profession, also sets you apart from others in the room (sometimes I’m the only lawyer in these rooms and clubs) and as a result, the engagement, new relationships and followers happen.
In conclusion, being active on the platform and adding value to the experience of others will help improve your brand and result in more followers. This has always worked for me on the other social media platforms and it works here too.
Compliment this effort with a properly completed profile bio, club description and a friendly and bright profile picture with a big smile, and you’ll be setting yourself up more followers and long-term success on the #Clubhouse platform.

Why is this important? Because you can now quickly and easily share your valuable Clubhouse brand and activities with your audience. It makes it easy for people to connect and follow you on the platform.
To help you do this, I’ve put together 10 easy and powerful ways to share your new Clubhouse links:
#1: Share links in your social media profile bios. For example, think about including an invitation to connect with you on Clubhouse in your Twitter, Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram profiles. Maybe something like:
“Let’s stay connected on Clubhouse. Click https://www.joinclubhouse.com/@mitchjackson and get powerful tips in my Club, “Marketing and Social Media for Lawyers” https://www.joinclubhouse.com/club/marketingandsocialmediaforlawyers
(Pro-Tip- I’m doing this but using Tips #4 and #5 to make the links shorter and easier to share)
#2: Share links in your social media posts. When posting about topics that relate to your activity on Clubhouse, let your audience know they can get more real-time information or engage in real-time conversation on the topic over on Clubhouse. Then, share your links.
