Here’s a bit more about Jamie: Successful lawyering depends on the power of persuasion. Before law school, Jamie pursued a career as a professional actor in Los Angeles after obtaining a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Southern California. Following several appearances in the soap operas “Santa Barbara” and “Young and the Restless,” Jamie left his union cards with the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artist behind to put his persuasion skills to use in the courtroom. Jamie obtained his law degree from The University of Alabama.

TO ALL THE TRIAL LAWYERS IN MY COMMUNITY

Trial Lawyer Show with Mitch Jackson

I have a new show where I’m interviewing top trial lawyers from around the world. These are trial lawyers most people don’t have access to and whose success in the courtroom has resulted in combined settlements and jury verdicts valued at billions of dollars impacting our world and helping make society a safer and better place.

I’ll ask them to share their winning trial advocacy approaches and a few of their favorite war stories during each episode. We’ll also touch upon topics like:

What makes a good lawyer a great trial attorney?

Why do some lawyers connect with their jury and consistently get million-dollar verdicts while others are routinely disappointed with their results?

How can you have a meaningful and rewarding career as a trial lawyer?

Please join us live for the next episode/interview on the TrialLawyer.show. Ask questions, take notes, and benefit from decades of experience and wisdom.

We’re booking new shows right now and will be posting show dates and times later this week. Get on the text or email update list for the latest show dates, times, and updates.

Want to be a Go-Giver? Share the TrialLawyer.Show with other trial lawyers you care about. After all, the better we all are at trying our cases, the better we can protect the consumer and the more valuable and meaningful results we’ll get for our clients.

I hope this sounds interesting to you. I also hope you take action and get on one or both of the update lists.

OK. That’s it for now.

I believe it’s going to be a good week. If you haven’t already done so, please vote on Tuesday, never stop being you, and never stop making each day your masterpiece!

Mitch

MY FIRST MILLION DOLLAR JURY VERDICT (and lessons learned)

In life, there’s often quite a bit more to what first meets the eye. This verdict didn’t just happen because I spent two weeks in a jury trial. It happened because of the prior 25+ years of my life.

In the video, I share the details. I think the ideas and mindsets apply to most of us no matter what we do for a living.

This case started back in 1994 after my clients rejected a $1.00 settlement offer (that’s not a typo– it was a one dollar offer from the other side’s insurance company). Their son had been killed while riding his jet ski at Lake Havasu, after being struck head on by another watercraft. We we’re trying to settle a claim brought against the other driver/rider.

This case involved an incorrect/false police blood test report, and so much more. In the video, I share a few things I still think about to this day and, several good trial lawyer tips and strategies.

I’ll be sharing more trial lawyer war stories over the next several months. Don’t miss my next upload. Please stop by my law firm YouTube channel (different than my social media/video channel), subscribe and ring the darn bell. More life stories are on the way!

It was an honor helping this family find justice for the wrongful death of their son. I’m glad I can share part of their story with you.
